Exposure To Toxins On A Daily Basis.. What Should We Do?

We’re exposed to numerous toxins every day, in our modern society, and because of that, it’s easier for our bodies to become unhealthy. Taking corrective measures are essential to lead a healthy lifestyle, and these methods below will help get you there.

  1. Vegetables: You’ve heard “eat your vegetables” before, but sometimes when we’re not forced to, we choose unhealthy options instead. Cilantro, parsley, alfalfa, and cholera are three very potent vegetables that contain heavy metal and chemical chelators, making it easier to purify your blood. That means that your body will have an easier time flushing your organs of wastes, with less of a chance that you’ll experience “side effects” from detoxing. Use them in juices, salads, or even in powdered forms with a smoothie in the morning or your regular water supply.
  2. Fasting with water: Fasting with a lemon, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup concoction can do wonders for your digestive system. Drink it for 3-7 days, up to 4 times per year for a proactive method of avoiding various ailments associated with an overload of toxins.
  3. Fasting with Juice: For anywhere from 3 to 14 days, consume only fresh, organic veggies and juices consisting of fruits. Kale, beets, carrots, lettuce, ginger, and lemon are all great selections if you’re trying to neutralize acidity within your body. It also works to provide a nutritious meal, and flushes our bodies of undesirables.
  4. Enemas/colon cleanse: Our colon is where everything ends up, but we also absorb nutrients from it. This means that any toxins that are remaining, are also absorbed. Although it may not feel pleasant, it is something that many experts recommend to keep our bodies working well.
  5. Proper diet: By eating a diet high in water content, green leafy veggies, and vegetable juices, it can help move along the detoxification process. Try to consume only fruit or vegetable juice in the morning, and then for lunch, followed by a large salad with various fruits and vegetables, and a dairy-free dressing on top. For dinner, go ahead with more fruit, along with another salad with many veggies. If you’d like, add a baked sweet potato and some spices, however, try to avoid salt.
  6. Exercise: Exercise is important in helping along the detox process. You don’t need to run a marathon to reap the benefits, either; just 15 minutes of exercise a day can help remove waste through the skin.
  7. Sleep: Sleep is essential for everything we do. It helps us regenerate all of our cells and aid in proper organ functioning. Anywhere from seven to nine hours is ideal, and try to eliminate any excess noises if you can.
  8. Detox Patches: Detox patches are a low-maintenance method for helping detox the body. Simply place them on the bottom of the feet, and they will help to draw out toxins from the body. You’ll notice that when you put them on at night, they’ll be white, and when you wake up, they’ll be black. This is due to all of the toxins they have removed while sleeping.
